Frequently Asked Questions

The app crashes or freezes unexpectedly

Close redundant background apps to release device memory and running resources. Ensure your device has enough available storage space for local data caching. Restart your device to clear temporary system cache files. If the problem persists, reinstall the app, and your local data will remain intact.

Local movie data is missing or fails to update

Confirm that you have not manually deleted local app cache files. Check that the app has obtained full local storage permission on your device. Avoid forcibly closing the app during data editing and saving. Contact support if data loss occurs accidentally.

Failed to upload or save custom poster images

Make sure ReverieReel has been granted photo library access permission. Use standard image formats supported by iOS. Avoid overly large image files which may cause saving failures. Check your device storage space before importing poster pictures.

Reminder notifications do not pop up normally

Enable system notification permissions for ReverieReel in your device settings. Confirm that the in-app watchlist reminder switch is turned on. Do not enable system do-not-disturb mode during your preset reminder time.

Statistics data is inaccurate or fails to refresh

New data statistics will take effect after automatic refresh. You can re-enter the statistics page to manually refresh data. Note that only valid watched records will be included in annual statistical calculations.

Failed to export local data

Confirm that the app has storage and file saving permissions. Ensure your device has sufficient free storage space for exported files. Try exporting again after restarting the app if the process gets stuck.
